From this, Brock Silversides has distilled 200 fascinating images that highlight the various stages of mountain photography, from the first forays into the region to the building of the railways and the development of communities and roads. Wading for the Light examines, for the first time, the challenges and hardships these early photographers faced, the adventures they had exploring new places in their search for unique views, and the exceptional photographic record they produced.
