For years the V& T was almost as profitable as the mines it served. It financed the careers of ambassadors, princesses and notables of two generations. Now in its eightieth year has been written and published the first entire book-length history of the V R T. It is an item of Western Americana which no one who is fascinated by the frontier legend of the United States can afford to miss.
