The Streamliner is published quarterly. On the Cover: Three E-units ease the Spokane-Hinkle mixed train No. 19 over Joso Viaduct in this circa 1970 view. The train includes several SP boxcars for interchange in Portland, grain loads destined to Columbia River ports, and at the rear of the train, empty acid tanks from Kellogg, Idaho, destined to be reloaded in eastern Idaho. The mixed train operation lasted until Amtrak. Union Pacific Museum collection
