INTRODUCTION

Trolleys to the Fountain is the third in a series of books on the streetcar systems of the Jersey Shore. The first book, Trolleys Across the Sand Dunes, covered Ocean County's Point Pleasant Traction and the Trenton, Lakewood and Seacoast Railway. The second volume, Trolleys in the Coast Cities, covered the Atlantic Coast Electric Railway.- Coast Cities Railway of Asbury Park from Manasquan to Long Branch. This book covers the area from Long Branch north to Red Bank-Rumson.
