The format of this alb a, and of others in the series, is a new departure in book manufacturing, an adaptation of methods and materials especially to suit the needs of the man who likes railroad pictures. Instead of selecting photos which would reduce to the usual book size, we have chosen with- out restriction the finest pictures from TRAINS magazine and from the files of the best amateur railroad photographers. This made a large page size necessary, and these large pages are bound by a modern method which keeps them as individual units which can be detached, if you wish, for framing. Special highly coated paper and gloss ink make the reproduction equivalent to glossy photographic prints.
