This new TCA Publication is the culmination of one year's effort, at first on an individual basis, as each member of the subsequently-formed Committee was unaware of the other's interest in the project.
It was not until a Chronologic Index format was almost ready for publication that the possibility of expansion and extension of this material to include an Alphabetic format was suggested by Louis J. Redman.
Frank Hare, as Editor of The Quarterly, supplied the names of several other interested TCA members. Each was contacted, and thus the Quarterly Index Committee came into being. The names of each individual will be given below. It was agreed that this writer would assemble and coordinate all material offered by the Committee, to be gathered together for publication. We wish to gratefully acknowledge the co-operation and fine work of these gentlemen, with a little extra nod of appreciation to Dr. Don Fraley for his extra effort in assembly and typing of the Alphabetic Index into its final form for publication.
