The Mainstreeter is published quarterly. On the Cover, Front cover: A quiet moment at the Northern Pacific engine house in Everett, Wash., during the 1950s. FT 5406A and B were just released from South Tacoma Shops after completion of the FT modernization program. L-9 0-6-0 no. 1111 was rebuilt at Seattle in June 1954, did about 1500 miles a month in Everett switching service, and was one of three coal burners at Everett and one of the last to see service there.
