The Mainstreeter is published quarterly. On the Cover, Cover: On top of the world! That is an appropriate description of this setting at Highview, Mont. On May 17, 1964, No. 26 crests the Continental Divide at an elevation of 6,329 feet. Sleeper-observation-lounge car 391 (formerly Arlington Club) puts the finishing touch on this 11-car edition of the eastbound Vista-Dome North Coast Limited. This consist reflects off-season traffic loads. In mere days this will be a 14- or 15-car train with four domes. Homestake Tunnel, bypassed in August 1956 by a line relocation, lies just to the left of the eight-year-old cut through which the three-unit locomotive is about to pass.
