I could tell what was coming as far as Howland's, or Wing's crossing below Salmon Hole bridge. Loco #10's was my favorite, Uncle Dana's too. See sounded like CPR steam, a deep, chesty sound. And her whistle - Nathan 5 chime a beauty. Loco's 10,19, 23 and 24 all had Nathan's, sadly I've forgotten 19's and 23's, but 10 and 24 I'll never forget. The loco's were all different as their whistles, and the most unusual was No. 9.
