SCL News is published by the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company for its employees, as a source of information about the Company, and in appreciation for the loyalty, cooperation and performance of all whose efforts contribute to just pride in the services rendered to its customers and to the public by the railroad.
Cover Story,  The SCL General Office Building at Jacksonville as it appears from the Federal Building on the corner of Pearl and Bay Streets two blocks north. The area in the foreground and to the right is part of 17.5 acres now being studied to determine its potential for extensive commercial development. If carried out, the general offices would be integrated into the overall project. The Acosta Bridge, with the FEC railroad bridge beside it, and the Fuller Warren Bridge are seen spanning the St. Johns River.
