Scale Rails NMRA is published monthly. On the cover, O scale 2- 10-4 number 3027 (Class T-I) emerges from Stretchers Neck Tunnel westbound. C&O T-1 with their added tonnage capability were used in lieu of the K-4 2-8-4s if the manifests had more than 70 cars. The model was heavily rebuilt from a Max Gray PRR J-1. The tender was scratchbuilt.
