Santa Fe Employee Magazine is issued the middle of the month to active and retired employes of the Santa Fe. Cover; A Santa Fe locomotive switches cars into Cargill, Inc.'s siding at their grain elevator at Elkhart, Kan. The elevator stores 1.9 million bushels of grain, and 28-30 covered hopper cars can be loaded per day. Most of the wheat stored at Elkhart is moved to the Gulf port of Houston. Photograph by Dale R.
