Last Days of the DAR
Photographer Jim Dufour takes us to Nova Scotia for an intimate look at the final years of operations on Canadian Pacifics Dominion Atlantic Railway. Jim Made several visits to the DAR, getting to know the crews along the way. Youll see heavy Gypsum trains, colorful CP power and the last months of VIA Rails RDC passenger trains, all running through the beautiful Land of Evangeline.
Boston & Maine - the early Guilford years
Photographer Bob Barnett recalls his efforts to document operations on the Boston & Maine during the early Guilford years of 1982-1986. He takes us trackside during this interesting transitional period that featured Delaware & Hudson and Maine Central units operating on the B&M. The run-through power brought a wide variety of colorful Alcos, U-Boats and Geeps to the B&M and Bob was there to capture the action on film. This promises to be a fascinating look back to what many call The Golden Age of Guilford. Don't miss it!
