In September 1988, five Pittsburg & Shawmut SW9s headed for Brookville, Pa., after working the coal loader at Dora. In April 1996 the P&S transferred its rail operations to the regional Genesee & Wyoming; Kurt Reisweber describes the last days of the old P&S beginning on page 52. Kodachrome by Jim Boyd British-built 60019, one of the first locomotives painted into Wisconsin Central's English, Welsh & Scottish livery, was at Brush Traction's Loughborough shops on May 20, 1996.
