Cover : CB&Q Passenger Extra 637 South, the return run for the Iowa Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society on Sunday, October 14, 1956, crosses the Whitebreast River on Bridge 10.57 north of Oakley, Iowa, on the Indianola Subdivision. The smoke plume above the engine would never have been permitted when the engine was in suburban service between Chicago and Downers Grove. It's likely that the smoke was for the photographers present rather than the result of poor firing.
