Rail Express is published monthly, Printed in UK. It's 50 years since British Railways launched the XP64 livery and coaches, its attempt to bring Britain's railways into the modern post-war world. Although the blue was later made darker, and the double-arrows logo not then officially launched. the train was the first step towards a brave new world.
