Rail Enthusiast is published monthly. Front cover by Mrs. Dorothy Robinson. A sunny afternoon at Wormit on September 12, 1980 and No. 40148 heads south with the 14.40 Aberdeen-Edinburgh. This loco was one of the four originally based at Neville Hill, Leeds (D345-9) whose first duties included the 'Queen of Scots' Pullman. No. 40148 met its end at Swindon Works in July 1985.
