TO OWNERS
OF MODEL "VA" SERIES TRACTORS
Your new model "VA" tractor is as fine a machine as you can buy today. You have purchased it to increase production on your farm and to reduce production costs. This tractor has been carefully designed and manufactured to give the best service at the least expense. When the tractor leaves the factory it has been carefully tested and the responsibility is then largely out of the hands of the manufacturer. It now depends upon you just how well it serves you. Regardless of the careful design, fine workmanship or selection of quality material, it is to no avail if the operator neglects proper care and service of the machine. Therefore, it is to your own interest to fully understand your tractor and to care for it properly at regular intervals. Only in this way will you obtain the best possible results and service from its use.
Read this instruction book-it has been made easy to read and understand. It contains complete and correct information on how to start, operate and adjust the tractor. Do what it recommends regardless of what may have been your practice or experience with other makes. If you observe and follow the few simple precautions and recommendations described in this manual, your tractor will do its part and serve you well for many years to come.
