ENGLISH TRANSLATION
One must see with a lot of sympathy for the idea that .forenanden and the main board of the Danish Lokomotivmandsforening have had to publish a booklet which, in a splendid way in words and hilleder, shows developments throughout the state-owned rolling stock from the first locomotive, Who pulled the initiation train at the opening of Copenhagen Kobenhavn-Roskilde in 1847, until the most modern 1500 hp diesel-electric locomotive, ordered, but as early as 1953, could prove to be the strain.
The line in this development is best for dam plomotives in terms of division in the following periods:
The time in which locomotives with single driving Christmas couples were. Prevailing. This period - with "Odin" and others. And the Crampton locomotives - if the first 15-20 years of history of the railroad in Denmark.
The time in which the 3-axle locomotives (with 2 or 3-linked axles) were predominant. This period lasted around the turn of the century in Denmark with types like .f. Eg B, Es, Ds and Gl. E. and G.
The time when 4-axle locomotives were common in Denmark with the K, C and D machines, and with the A machine as a relative early past, and finally the time to which the introduction of the superiors formed the most significant shell.
The superiors did not express much in the exterior of the locomotive, but all the more in its economy and efficiency. This period can be called the recent era in which the steam engine has come to development in a large number of types of very different construction, but as a common feature of the superstructure, often in connection with the compression system and using relatively high boiler pressure. The introduction of the superiors in Denmark happened gradually, and especially after, the First World War.
In the case of engine cores, the development has proceeded relatively faster and is mainly characterized by the gasoline engine as an energy source, from the first carriages at the beginning of the twenties, and already in 1930 we got the last carriages - ML - with gasoline engines. As early as 1927, we got the first diesel engine with air blast of hrcends oil, MT and 1928, MR, which was the last with this kind of engines.
Nineteen years - 1929 - came as the first choir of a diesel engine with pressure-boosting, MV and in 1943, MK was added with diesel-powered motors.
In addition to the purely historical overview contained in this, we know the State Railways of interest to many people, both old and young, in all the populations, far outside the locomotive and other state-owned personnel, to consider locomotives and motor cars and to know their Different characteristics as well as admire their shapes and sizes, which reflect the forces the machines can unfold. The glow that many people follow, this booklet will help to promote and promote why you must thank the locomotive engineers for the initiative they have taken.
