Hard cover with dust jacket

Morning Sun Books
128 pages
This book provides a view of the Northern pacific Rys freight, passenger and non-revenue rolling stock during the era of color photography. The objective is less to be encyclopedic than to show the paint and lettering schemes used on NP equipment from the 1940s through the 1970. In looking at various schemes we will also explore the fleet of equipment, when and why it was acquired, and where and how it was used.
The NP Color Guide contain approximately 300 vintage color photographs of passenger and freight cars, non-revenue cars, and miscellaneous equipment ranging from the regal cars on the North Coast Ltd to Pig Palace Stock Cars.
