North Western Lines C&NW is issued quarterly, Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall by the Chicago & North Western Historical Society. FRONT COVER: In March of 1963, two F7's repose at the CGW's Rochester,Minnesota engine terminal. The famous Mayo clinic dominates the skyline at left. One of CGW's Russell snowplows, undoubtedly looking forward to its summer vacation, is visible just behind the F's. CGW's lesser known facilities at Rochester are rich with history, having hosted a plethora of freight and passenger trains over the years.
