North Western Lines C&NW C&NW is issued quarterly, Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall by the Chicago & North Western Historical Society. COVER: Way car 10910 is of welded Construction rather than rivieted and was built in November of 1956 Although similar in appearance to earlier cars, there are numerous differences. The bay window has a flat roof instead of being pitched. the step side plates are vertical instead of being angled. Otherwise the car has all the usual characteristics 01 the international Car Company standard design. In 1981 392 Steel cabooses, including car 10910. were rebuilt and repainted as shown here.
