Norfolk and Western Magazine 1957 June N&W Employee Roanoke's Diamond Jubilee
N&W Norfolk and Western Employee Magazine 1957 June Veteran
Norfolk and Western Magazine is published every month in Roanoke, Va. THE NORFOLK AND WESTERN VETERANS pictured on the front cover of this issue comprised a congenial group. In fact, so friendly was the atmosphere that even the weather changed front rain to a cool, fair day thus confirming the fact that "it's always fair weather when good fellows get together." And, taking note of the spirit of the occasion, the Veterans' president, A. Carter, told the members that the Association should have as its project "that of promoting friendliness and teamwork among the entire railway Family ... Make no mistake," he said, "friendliness and cooperation are contagious."
