In this picture you see a Norfolk and Western train rolling through the beautiful Roanoke River valley, heeded west between Glenvar and Singer. The mountains in the distance are part of the Alleghenies. Looking at this picture one finds himself wishing he were aboard the train to sit and drink in more of such eyeappealing scenery as it would unfold while the train rolled along.
