Within the pages of this album are scenes recorded by a former employee of the San Francisco Municipal Railway, depicting the rolling stock and operations of the Muni over a twenty-year time span. Many of the photographs contained within this collection graphically demonstrate to the viewer the numerous and dramatic changes made to this colorful transportation system in recent years. Also included are views of the now-famous San Francisco Historic Trolley Festival, an event that draws hundreds of devoted tramway enthusiasts from around the world whenever it operates.
