IN THIS NEW edition I have redrawn all of the maps and have expanded the abandonment list into a directory of rail abandonments. I retained the line numbers from the first edition, both to make it easier for readers of that book to follow and for me to keep track of them as well. A number of errors have been corrected and many lines omitted from the first edition have been added. Happily, most of my errors proved to be minor, the most common being the misdating of abandonments that occurred late in one year or early in the next.

All pictures are of the actual item. If this is a railroad item, this material is obsolete and no longer in use by the railroad. Please email with questions.
