In addition to an up-to-date checklist of all items listed in this photo album, we have included a Current Pricing Guide on most of the items. Prices shown in the guide are for items in Good, Excellent and Mint Condition.
Mint condition items are those which have never been run or used on a layout, with all parts intact and free from scratches, chips, etc.
An item in Excellent condition would also be pretty well intact and free of scratches, chips, etc., but may have been run or used on a layout.
An item in Good condition is an item that has been run or used on a layout, and may have some minor defects such as chips and scratches.
We cannot, of course, undertake to pass judgment on the condition of any items, as that has to be decided between buyer and seller, or traders.
The prices listed are retail prices; i.e., what a collector would expect to pay to a dealer for an item. Therefore, a dealer would probably pay only 40 to 60% of the retail price for items he purchases, depending on his needs.
