About the book
The title of this book may be a little misleading ; strictly speaking,
Rolling Stock should include Locomotives, but a book on the
drawing of Locomotives has already appeared in this
series so this one has been devoted to carriages,
wagons, etc.
Some are carefully drawn, whilst others are quick impressions. Whatever your intentions, whether you want to draw highly detailed drawings for records or whether you want to study the subject from the pictorial aspect you will find a guide to all styles. The subject is by no means so intricate as it appears at first glance and, providing you remember certain very simple rules, you will find it quite easy and as exciting as a puzzle.
All pictures are of the actual item. There may be reflection from the lights in some photos. We try to take photos of any damage.
