Introduced in 1945 (Serial No. 980520) the E27N used 60% of Model N parts but was a much larger machine due to the rear axle design, by the late 40's early 50's the E27N was readily available with hydraulics and with the joint development with Ransomes to manufacture the F.R. range of implements this now made the E27N a useful machine capable of pulling 3 furrow ploughs etc. Many improvements were made to the tractor in its 7 year production run amounting to 236,000 units including the improved vaporiser introduced in May 1950.
