PREFACE
This history of the Mohawk and Malone Railway is the outgrowth of my collecting information about the railroad for my own enjoyment. As the material accumulated, it was easy for the idea to form that there might be others who would like to read about Dr. W. Seward Webb's "Fairy Tale Railroad" or as some folks like to call it the "Golden Chariot Route."
Built in less than 20 months, nearly 200 miles of track...
