As with many American cities in the 1960s, Cincinnati was serviced by
a variety of railroads  seven, to be exact. The units used by these carriers
were as varied as their paint schemes. In this part, we cover railroads serving
the city from the south as well as the CUT's own diesel switchers.

In 2008, we lost one of the East Coast's premier railroad photographers, Robert R. "Bob" Malinoski. His work was well known in railfan circles, having appeared in many rail magazines, as well as several books.
