MUSEUM OF TRANSPORTATION
THE MUSEUM OF TRANSPORTATION HAS A LONG HISTORY OF PARTNERSHIP dating back to its founding in the 1940s...with its volunteers, its staff, the Transport Museum Association, and the St. Louis community. The Museum is owned and managed by St. Louis County Parks and receives considerable ongoing support from its non-profit partner, the Transport Museum Association.
The Collection Highlights resulted from a collaborative effort between the Transport Museum Association and St. Louis County Parks. Many hours of research, editing, and design were devoted to this publication, which is intended for the enjoyment of anyone with an interest in the fascinating history of transportation, by rail and other modes, as well as for the dedicated transportation enthusiast.
