Coal trains on the Norfolk and Western move with precision over double-tracked roadbed that is safeguarded by modern automatic signals. Elsewhere the Norfolk and Western operates giant mallet-type steam locomotives. Huge classification yards for the quick, accurate checking, weighing, and dispatching of your Fuel Satisfaction shipments are maintained at Bluefield, W. Va.; Williamson, W. Va.; Portsmouth, Ohio; Roanoke, Va.; and at the Port of Norfolk 'Lambert Point', Va. These points are strategically located and are essential to the prompt and efficient distribution of Fuel Satisfaction.
Annually a huge tonnage of these unexcelled coals is transported by the Norfolk and Western Railway.
