Because this segment was separated from the final chapter of the Cincinnati Streetcars story for early printing, it does not contain a roster or work equipment.
This whole story contains only glimpses of what happens on the surface of a large electric railway system - the rolling stock, bits about track work, scheduling, wrecks, and other operations to give a sampling of what the street railway was and a little of how it operated. There was much important maintenance behind the scenes that could not be shown but which made the whole operation possible. Many personalities contributed to its growth or instigated changes. Politics also must have played a part.
More of the daily operations, what happened to the streamliners, the substitution of trolley buses and motor coaches, a turn-back loop, a car barn fire, and more great pictures will take the story to the end of track.
