This editor stuff is risky business, as anyone who has filled this position will attest. You try to be fair to your readers by presenting a balanced content that is interesting and informative, attractive to the eye, and in a timely manner. And how do you do this every month? The answer: you don't, always.And it ain't easy.
This month, for example, our content is a little heavily oriented toward the Pere Marquette side, after already extensive coverage this year. But folks have been waiting to see the refrigerator car article and we needed to present the New Buffalo article while it was still "news."
