This book provides a review of the Chesapeake and Ohio's revenue and non-revenue rolling stock during the age of color photography. Covering the post World War 11 years to 1973 (Chessie System), and focusing on the rolling stock of the 1950's and 1960's, a representative view of the C&O's equipment is provided. While some C&O cars in the joint B&O/C&O numbering scheme are included, the focus clearly is on C&O rolling stock prior to the joint numbering system and the Chessie merger.
