A Century of Railroading in Crawford Notch By Robertson & English Soft Cover Revised Edition Second Printing 1985  (1975, revised edition 1981) 86 Pages Lots of photos,
The purpose of our writing this book is to present a pictorial coverage of the first hundred years of railroading through Crawford Notch in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We limited our efforts to the area between Bartlett and Fabyan as this 18.5 mile segment contains the most spectacular scenery. Also included are the connecting railroads in the area, some of which only lasted a few years.
We have presented the photographs in the main part of the book in geographical sequence, starting at Bartlett. All references to direction are in railroad terminology, westbound trains are headed for St. Johnsbury, and eastbound trains are headed for Portland, regardless of the actual compass directions.

All pictures are of the actual item.  If this is a railroad item, this material is obsolete and no longer in use by the railroad.  Please email with questions.
