The National Life Insurance Company of Montpelier, Vermont, as a highlight of its Montreal convention, chartered this special train for a one-day trip from Montreal to Montpelier Junction and return. The train left Montreal at 7 A.M. on July 15, 1960, and arrived at Montpelier Junction at 10:15 A.M. The return move left the Junction at 5 P.M., and the CV transportation advice specified \"It is desired that a four (4) hour running time be used between Montpelier Junction and Montreal to permit ample time for all persons to have dinner in the diners.\" The cars were marshalled: one diner, two coaches, one diner, two coaches, etc., with each coach having its own attendant.
