In 1903 a small group of long time employees (hence the word Veteran) formed the Central Railroad Company of New Jersey Veteran Employees Association. While the Association was formed nearly a century after the railroad's start, each had its \"firsts\". Also, special recognition is given to the late Alfred M. Jenico who chronicled much of the Association's history during the 1950's through the 1970's and to Nathan W.
