INTRODUCTIONS
With the completion of Volume Eight of this series, it is hard to realize that 201 photographs have now been published and almost 100,000 words of text used to describe the scenes in those photographs. From the very beginning we had an excellent reception from rail fans but perhaps the greatest personal satisfaction comes from the fact that other series have developed from "Canadian Pacific in the Rockies". Al Love, Colin Hatcher, Norman Lowe and Newton Rossiter have all become contributing authors and this publication represents the 13th book that we have made available in the past four and a half years. We are pleased to have been able to bring so much new data to those who are interested in Canada's railways and out of the total of 326 prints published, the vast majority have never been published before.
All pictures are of the actual item. There may be reflection from the lights in some photos. We try to take photos of any damage.
