Welcome to the Halton County Radial Railway, Canada's only operating electric railway museum, created and maintained by the Ontario Electric Railway Historical Association. The essence of transportation is movement, and therefore our museum is not a collection of old vehicles, preserved but dead; rather it is a living railway on which visitors may ride in actual period street cars. Thus we hope to re-create the electric railway experience in a vivid manner that no stationary exhibit can do. This booklet answers some of the common questions asked by visitors, and goes on to describe and illustrate the cars in our collection.
