Murphy Company in Red Oak, and now supervises all of their machinery. But his love of the rails has grown and has manifested itself in photography, dark room techniques, the building of models, the collection of data, and the publishing of books. Bernard has a priceless collection of negatives of rail scenes, both old and new; the basement of the Corbin home houses an 0-gauge model Burlington railroad, unique in the fact that Bernard scratch built each of the ten locomotives from prototypical plans. Recently, he completed his second T-2 Compound Mallet, and now an Atlantic is on the drawing board.
