BN Expeditor is published four times a year and was included in the membership in the Friends of the Burlington Northern Railroad. Cover photo, The Renton Rocket, a local switch job in the Seattle, Washington area, with BN GP9 1871 in charge brings brand new Alaska RR caboose 1079 and the rest of its train into Black River on its way to Seattle on June 27, 1977. One of the jobs of the Rocket was to pick up new railcars from Pacific Car and Foundry in Renton and take it to Seattle, including new cabooses like this one and many built for BN.
