Its sectional nature, based on the historical beginnings tends to make the line overshadowed by its more well known neighbours. Yet for all this it has remained a fascinating and functional railway and forms an important link to the Eastern Counties. Nuneaton Trent Valley also had a local service to Leicester, serving the six stations en route. The sight and sound of express trains rushing by as the local awaited departure was always an added bonus and so the main line scenes at Nuneaton are featured.
