BY placing in service on many of its main line trains coaches for day travel of a new and vastly improved type, the Baltimore & Ohio again gives evidence of its policy to provide for its patrons the greatest measure of travel comfort. They are more convenient and beautiful than the day coaches usually found in railroad service and distinctively different, with deep cushioned single seats, having a drop arm between each pair. The individual seats themselves are of the kind you fit right into as naturally as if you were sitting in your own armchair, and are beautifully upholstered in a heavy, rich quality of mohair plush.
You can hang your coat in the coat hanger on the back of the seat in front of you - helps you keep your coat pressed and makes it easier to get things out of your pockets. There is also a convenient umbrella- and cane-holder between the coat hangers.
The Baltimore & Ohio set a new standard of comfort for day-coach travelers by being the first railroad to build and put into service this new, individual-seat coach.
