It is the aim of this book to capture the look and feel of freight interchange and light-density passenger travel in the mid-1920s. For that reason, this presentation is made in the alphabetical order of the properties reported on by the inspectors. Despite the rather marginal quality of the pictures taken by the inspectors with the folding cameras that were supplied, no extraneous photographs have been introduced in this coast-to-coast coverage. Luckily, much of the material is from rarely covered properties.
All pictures are of the actual item. There may be reflection from the lights in some photos. We try to take photos of any damage.
