As the son of an Algoma Central employee I certainly picked up information and was always conscious of the railway and its doings, although Dad was not the sort to rehash company business at home. A large portion of what appears in this book had to be researched, formally or otherwise, and without the help of the people and institutions listed below, the task would have been IMPOSSIBLE.
