PREFACE
There are many books available today on the building of model airplanes. The majority of these books will contain models, both good and bad, which may or may not have been flight-tested or actually constructed. We feel, however, that there is a popular demand for a book containing only those model planes which either have been or are potentially-CONTEST WINNERS.
We are attempting to fill this demand in Plane Model Winners, published in two volumes, each containing a variety of model types. For the enthusiast, both beginner and experienced alike, there is no need to question the ability of these models. Each one, if constructed according to plan, is a winner in its own class-capable of winning those trophies which are so appealing to all of us!
