WHAT WAGNER PUTS INTO TRUCKS:
Careful workmanship, in the machining of parts and in their assembly, a basic premise.
MOTORS which are dependable. They are pretested and tested again after being installed in a truck.
GEARS that are especially cut for Wagner model trolley trucks. The most suitable metal is chosen to run against special worms. Gears are covered.
SPRING BELTS which allow a variety of wheelbases in a drive. These belts are made in the Wagner shop especially for this purpose. A spring belt efficiently and quietly drives the second axle and does not pick up dirt as would gears.
WHEELS which are turned to strict Wagner quality, fitted on special axles which turn in brass bearings in finely detailed truck frames of cast Rondalloy.
RONDALLOY is the metal used for truck side frames, gear covers, and some bolsters, where possible. It helps absorb noise and lets your cars sound more like their prototypes.
Appropriate body bolsters are sent with each truck.
Some are brass but wherever possible they are
cast in Rondalloy to lower noise level.
