Introduction
This booklet was originally produced in 1967 by Dwight A. Smith, now President and General Manager of the Conway Scenic Railroad. With his permission The 470 Railroad Club has undertaken to update this complete railfan's guide for the states of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Here, under one cover are capsule descriptions of the region's railroads, large and small. Maps, photographs, locomotive rosters, gazetteers and directories of clubs, steam locomotives and passenger trains complete this work.
All pictures are of the actual item. There may be reflection from the lights in some photos. We try to take photos of any damage.
